MARUG Board

The board of the MARUG consists of 6 students who are working a full–time year on coordinating a study association with 1300 members. Besides coordinating, the board is also busy with helping all the committees of the MARUG in organizing their events, such as the MARUG Marketing Conference, the Markant magazine or the International Marketing Experience.
Furthermore, the board is busy with constructing, redefining and executing policies concerning the association, and debates over the continuity of the MARUG and how to further professionalize the association. Moreover, they keep contact with several faculties, active members, alumni, companies and other associations.
For the full–time year that the board members spend they receive a financial dispensation that is equal to a study allowance.

The MARUG board consists of six functions: the Chairman, External Relations, Treasurer, Internal Relations, Secretary and PR/Promotion.
Besides learning how to execute your function in the board, you also get to know a lot of other fellow students and you are regularly in contact with a variety of companies. Of course you are not only busy on a professional level, since there are also a lot of events, social drinks and parties. This combination between professionalism and social aspects, makes the MARUG board year one of the best years of your study.
