Communication Traineeship

Where will you work?

You will be employed by SchaalX and work at different clients throughout your traineeship. This is an intercompany traineeship, meaning that over two years, you will work at 2 to 4 different major corporates.

• 📨  Work as a Content Specialist at brands like PostNL or RegioBank like Marleen.

• 🤿 Dive into the public sector as a Communication Specialist at Het Waterschapshuis like Judith.

• 💰 Work as a Contentspecialist at RegioBank like Roos.

• 👩‍⚕️ Focus on Employer Branding at healthcare institutions like Diakonessenhuis like Isa.

The Traineeship Program

After a 5-day intensive introduction, you begin at your first client. Every other Friday, you return to your "Tribe" (a close group of max. 12 young professionals) at SchaalX for a masterclass. You will attend 40 masterclasses given by industry experts, covering:

• (Web) Copywriting & Persuasive Communication

• AI & Communication

• Inclusive & Crisis Communication

• Government communication

• Social Media Content Planning

• Personal Leadership coaching by the Talent Academy Group

And of course, after a day of learning, a cold beer or wine is waiting for you at the Friday afternoon drinks (VrijMiBo)! 🍻

Who are you?

• You find your way quickly in new environments and enjoy variety.

• You are eager to learn and constantly challenge yourself in the digital field.

• You are confident in decision-making and want to lead major projects.

• You have a strong command of the Dutch language (required for client interactions).

What do you bring?

• A Master’s degree (WO) or a high-potential HBO degree in Marketing or Communication.

• Relevant experience from internships, side jobs, or working student positions.

• A track record of active involvement in committees or boards.

• A demonstrable passion for the digital world and online marketing.

• Note: If you graduated some time ago, we handle a maximum of 1 year of work experience after your studies.

The Numbers:

• Full-time: 40 hours per week (including bi-weekly masterclasses).

• Salary Growth: A starting salary of €2,400, increasing to €2,700 after 1 year, and €3,500 after 1.5 years.
