Data Analyst

What will you do?

At EQOM, you work with data in a way that delivers tangible value. You will build dashboards, create reports, and model data in a smart, scalable way. You don’t just think about what needs to be extracted from the data, but specifically how, with a keen eye for reusability, structure, and efficiency. You follow principles like "Don’t Repeat Yourself" (DRY) to ensure solutions are built correctly the first time.

You will enter an environment where software engineering skills are just as vital as analytical ones. Structuring, automating, and clear communication are essential. You will coach colleagues and work closely with various teams; including E-commerce, Logistics, Finance, Sales, and Purchasing, across both B2B and B2C sectors.

You will join our international Data Team, consisting of Data & Web Analysts, Analytics Engineers, and Data Engineers.

Who are you?

You are an expert who prioritizes efficiency and scalability. You can translate complex technical data into simple, clear insights for colleagues without a technical background. As an experienced analyst, you know how to turn a vague business request into a concrete product by asking the "why" and empathizing with the end user.

What do we ask?

• HBO+ level of thinking and working.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst.

•  

• Proficient in building, structuring, and transforming data.

• Experience in a fast-paced commercial environment with a focus on results.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python.

• Experience with PowerBI (or similar) for dashboarding.

• Experience with dbt and/or Databricks is a significant advantage.

• Excellent command of Dutch and English (written and verbal).

• Availability: For this role, it is required to work at our office in Veendam at least three days per week.
