Hi everyone,
My name is Toine, I am 21 years old, and I will be the next treasurer of the MARUG Board. This will be my fourth year in Groningen. I am studying Business Administration and I chose the Accountancy & Controlling track. In my free time I like to be outside, I love sailing and of course I like to spend time with my friends. Besides that, I try to go to the gym, unfortunately I do not manage to go that often.
Right now, I am almost at the end of my Bachelor, and I was looking for the next challenge. In my first year I encountered the MARUG. Last year I decided to join the Mind over Marketing committee. I enjoyed that a lot, so that is why I decided to contact Robien and have a coffee. After my talk with Robien I decided to also have a drink with Lotte, my predecessor. A little later I met Tim at the MARUG conference, and I decided to have a drink with him too. I decided to go for it and solicited. After two weeks I finally heard the great news that I was chosen to be the next treasurer. Later that day was the official announcement in ‘t Vaatje.
I am very excited for the coming year, and I am looking forward to meeting you all at next MARUG events!
