Hey,
My name is Thijs Tielemans, and I will be the next Treasurer of the MARUG board 2024-2025. Currently, I am 19 years old and in my spare time I like to play padel, soccer and going out with my friends. 2 years ago, I started living in Groningen and following the bachelor International Business. In my second year studying I was looking for a new challenge which eventually led me to the MARUG Board.
After some drinks with the current board and the new Chairman it became clear for me that a board year was exactly what I was looking for. I applied for the role as Treasurer because of my interests in financials, and I’m eager to learn how to make financial decisions in real-life scenario’s.
I’m really looking forward to this responsibility and excited to learn more about Marketing and the practical implications of it. I’m confident that we will have a great year with this group of enthusiastic people.
