When I moved from Friesland to Groningen three years ago, I initially decided to study Medicine. However, I realized that this study program did not suit me completely, so I decided to switch to Business Administration. In my free time, I enjoy playing hockey and spending time with my friends.
For me, Groningen truly feels like home. What I love most about it is that it feels like a small city where everyone knows each other.
After having an amazing year as treasurer of the Lustrum Committee and organizing a fantastic lustrum together with the committee, I wanted to stay involved with MARUG for another year. Since I only have a few courses left to complete next year, doing a board year fit perfectly into my schedule.
I have been part of the board for about a month now, and I am really enjoying it. Meeting so many new people, having a bit more structure in my life, and my amazing board members make me very excited for the coming year.
I’m looking forward to getting to know even more new people, growing on a personal level, and having an amazing year together with my board members.
